This Friday, the 29th of November, Parliament will debate a proposal to change the law on assisted suicide. At Not Dead Yet UK, we believe this is a moment where we must make our voices heard loud and clear. We need your support.

We’re holding a rally outside Parliament from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., the time the vote is expected to take place. We’ll have placards, T-shirts, woolly hats, and ponchos ready for as many supporters as possible. Let’s make an unforgettable statement together!

The forecast suggests it will be cold but dry, so please wrap up warm. We recommend layering up and bringing gloves, scarves, and comfortable footwear. Let’s show our strength and solidarity, no matter the weather.

Disabled people across the UK are deeply concerned about this proposed change in the law. Alex Cowan has created a powerful video that beautifully captures why this matters so much. It’s a moving reminder of the potential dangers this law could bring and why it’s crucial to stand against it. If you haven’t seen it yet, we urge you to watch and share it widely. Alex Cowan video

Your presence at the rally can make all the difference. Let’s remind Parliament that disabled people deserve protection, not policies that put our lives at risk. Join us this Friday—together, we are Not Dead Yet!
